How do I distance myself from committing sins through the Qur'an?

We are advised to frequently recite the Quran with contemplation, reflecting on its warnings, prohibitions, promises, threats, and the horrors of the Day of Judgment; for this suppresses souls from becoming attached to sins. We are also advised to read verses that expel Satan, such as Ayatul Kursi, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Mu'awwidhatayn, and the concluding verses of Al-Baqarah. Furthermore, it is recommended to remind people of the Quran and to warn them with it, as Allah Almighty says: "Say, 'I only warn you by revelation.' But the deaf do not hear the call when they are warned" and "And this Quran was revealed to me that I may warn you thereby" and "And warn thereby those who fear that they will be gathered to their Lord - for them there will be no protector nor intercessor besides Him - that they may become righteous" and "So remind with the Quran whoever fears My threat." Indeed, speaking with people in this regard makes the soul convinced to distance itself from sins and feel ashamed of transgression, and it involves striving against Satan.
