Is abortion permissible if the wife is pregnant, has young children—the youngest of whom is an infant—and struggles to care for the pregnancy and the infant along with her work?

If the pregnancy has completed forty days or more, it is not permissible to abort it for the reason mentioned. However, if it is less than forty days, some scholars have permitted its abortion, but what is given as a fatwa by us is the absolute prohibition of abortion unless its continuation poses a danger to the mother's life.
