Must I buy an apartment for each of my daughters to achieve justice among my children, given that I bought an apartment for my son and registered it in his name, knowing that I prepared my daughters before their marriages?

The preponderant view is the obligation of justice among children in gifts and endowments, by giving the male the same as the female, unless a special need necessitates preferring one of them according to their need. As for maintenance (nafah), it is according to the need of each of them, and equality is not obligatory therein. And preparing daughters with maintenance does not necessitate equality. The gift of an apartment to a son necessitates equality between him and the rest of the children, either by returning what was given to the son or by gifting the like to the rest of the children, because his need is met by benefiting from the dwelling, not by ownership.
