Is it permissible to eat the meat of calves, sheep, chickens, and fish from a country that is neither Muslim nor People of the Book, such as China?

For the consumption of slaughtered animals to be permissible, the slaughterer must be a Muslim or a person of the Book (Jew or Christian). Therefore, the animal slaughtered by anyone else, such as an idolater or an atheist, is not permissible to eat. As for fish, it is permissible to eat them even if the one who caused their death is not a Muslim, because they do not require ritual slaughter, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Two dead animals and two types of blood have been made lawful for us. As for the two dead animals, they are fish and locusts. As for the two types of blood, they are the liver and the spleen."
