Is the husband considered unjust to his wife if he cannot tolerate her and does not desire her physically, and wishes to divorce her despite her having no fault?

Divorce is abhorrent in Islamic law and should only be resorted to after all means of reconciliation have been exhausted. It becomes permissible when there is a need for it due to the wife's bad character or the husband being harmed by her. However, one should not rush into divorce, as Allah Almighty says: "And live with them honorably. If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing and Allah brings through it much good" (Quran 4:19), and as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A believing man should not hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another." It is also recommended to maintain the prescribed adhkar (remembrances) and ruqyah (definition) (incantations), and to present oneself to trustworthy ruqyah practitioners.
