Is it permissible to use cannabis oil containing 0.6% THC to treat knee pain for a diabetic patient, knowing that this percentage does not affect the mind?

Hemp is a plant, some varieties of which are cultivated for their strong fibers. Its cultivation is prohibited in most countries due to its content of intoxicating substances such as marijuana and hashish. The active ingredient in it is known as "Tetrahydrocannabinol" (THC).

The oil mentioned contains 0.6% of this substance, which is a small, consumed amount that neither prohibits its use nor necessitates its defilement. Islamic Fiqh Academies and Fatwa bodies have permitted the use of medicines containing a small percentage of alcohol if no alcohol-free alternative is available and a trustworthy doctor has prescribed it. Pure intoxicants are not permitted to be used as medicine.
