Is deducting a portion of the salary or withholding the salary, in the event that a maid deliberately disobeys orders and leaves the house without permission, considered a permissible punishment to protect the household, and does this contradict the Hadith: "Give the laborer his wages before his sweat dries"?

It is permissible to hire domestic workers (servants), and the private employee is one who works for an individual temporarily and is entitled to wages upon making himself available for the period. If the maid refrains from working, it is permissible to deduct from her salary only for the period she left work, and it is not permissible to exceed that. It is not permissible to give her salary to anyone else except with her permission, nor is it permissible to delay her salary after it becomes due. To remedy her corruption, advice and calling her to Islam with wisdom and good admonition should be employed.
