What is the ruling of the Sharia regarding the continuation of a marriage, given the wife's inability to endure the husband's lies and his continuous betrayal with another woman, who was his former fiancée, despite his knowledge that this act harms the wife psychologically and physically, and has caused her to miscarry, and despite his continuous attempts to deny this relationship, knowing that he is attached to her and she is attached to him?
The husband must fear Allah and abandon the forbidden relationship. It is not permissible to seek a divorce without a valid شرعي (Shar'i) excuse, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Any woman who asks her husband for divorce without a sound reason, the scent of Paradise will be forbidden to her." If the loss of the fetus was a deliberate abortion, then repentance is obligatory. The husband's mistake does not justify the wife's mistake; each individual is responsible for themselves before Allah. Abandoning previous relationships must be for the sake of Allah, and then for the right of the husband. Do not let the husband's forbidden actions push you to imitate him. Handle the matter wisely and win over your husband. Adherence to religion preserves the family from disintegration; for committed spouses do not betray and fulfill their rights, and this is the foundation of family cohesion.
