Is it permissible to hang painted pictures containing animals, flowers, or natural landscapes in a room, or is that forbidden?

Depicting living beings, whether human or animal, and hanging them on walls, wood, or fabric, is among the forbidden acts. However, there is no harm in depicting inanimate objects. Hanging these pictures prevents the angels of mercy from entering the house, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture."
