The answer

Those who suppress anger are individuals who do not display their rage nor unleash it upon people. Rather, they withhold their harm, seeking reward from Allah. Two hadiths have been narrated concerning the virtue of suppressing anger: The first: "There is no gulp more beloved to Allah than a gulp of anger suppressed by a servant, seeking the countenance of Allah." The second: "Whoever suppresses anger while being able to act upon it, Allah Almighty will call him forth before the heads of creation on the Day of Judgment until Allah gives him the choice of whichever of the wide-eyed houris he desires."
