The answer

The dwellers of Hell will remain therein forever. The Salaf (pious predecessors) have unanimously agreed upon this. Ibn Uthaymeen cited three verses from the Holy Quran that confirm the eternity of Hell: An-Nisa (Khalideena فيها Abada - abiding therein forever), Surah Al-Ahzab (Khalideena فيها Abada - abiding therein forever), and Surah Al-Jinn (Khalideena فيها Abada - abiding therein forever).

Furthermore, the Permanent Committee for Issuing Fatwas affirmed that Hell will not perish and that disbelievers will abide therein eternally, based on multiple verses from the Holy Quran, such as: (Fa'lyawma lā yukhrajūna minhā - So this Day they will not be removed from it), (Kullamā naḍijat julūduhum baddalnāhum julūdan ghayrahā - Every time their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for fresh skins), and (Mā hum bikhārijīna minan-nār - Nor will they ever leave the Fire).
