Does Allah forgive a sin and reward patience even if there was a previous transgression from which its perpetrator has repented?

Allah the Almighty accepts the repentance of the sincere servant who returns to Him, regretting their shortcomings, and forgives all their sins, no matter how great. Therefore, the questioner should be sincere in her repentance, improve her turning to Allah, draw near to Him, and be optimistic about His forgiveness and grace.
