Is it permissible for the husband to reclaim his children from his wife, who prevents him from visiting them and demands a divorce, given his concerns about her misconduct?

The questioner, whose wife suffers from ill-manners and disobedience, and who left the house without his permission, was advised to try and lure her to one of the Islamic centers for reconciliation, and to make her aware that divorce is being considered. If reconciliation is achieved, then that is excellent. Otherwise, divorce is preferable. He may also refrain from divorcing her until she ransoms herself from him, or he can make the divorce conditional upon her waiving custody, knowing that custody, while the marriage subsists, is a right for both parents.
