What is the share of each heir from the deceased's estate if he left behind four daughters and a full sister?
If the heirs are limited to those mentioned, the daughters receive two-thirds due to their plurality and the absence of a male agnate ( عصَبَة ), in accordance with Allah's saying: "But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, they will have two-thirds of what he left." The full sister receives the remaining one-third by virtue of ta'sib (residuary heirship) as the author of al-Rahabiyyah said: "And if there are sisters with daughters, then they (the sisters) are made residuary heirs with them (the daughters)."
The inheritance is to be divided into twelve shares: eight shares for the daughters (two shares for each daughter), and the remaining four shares for the full sister.
Nevertheless, inheritance matters should be referred to the courts to verify the absence of any other heirs, wills, debts, or rights that take precedence over the rights of the heirs, due to their seriousness and importance.
