A woman in a state of is prohibited from wearing the niqab and gloves, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "A woman in a state of ihram should not wear the niqab nor gloves." If she completes her and exits the state of ihram, this prohibition is lifted.

If she wears the niqab or gloves during ihram out of ignorance of the ruling, then there is nothing upon her, based on the Almighty's saying: "And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred, but [only for] what your hearts have intended."

However, if she was aware of the ruling, then she must offer a , which is fasting for three days, or feeding six poor people (half a sa' for each poor person), or slaughtering a sheep.
