Is the disliked permissible, with its abstainer rewarded, and what is the difference between karahah (dislike) and karahat al-tanzih (dislike of purification/abomination)?

That which is disliked (makrooh) is what the Sharia has prohibited with a non-binding prohibition, whereas that which is permissible (mubah) has no command or prohibition concerning it. The statement that makrooh is permissible and one is rewarded for abandoning it is correct in the sense that there is no sin in it, just like the mubah. However, it is incorrect because the mubah has no command or prohibition related to it, whereas the one who abandons the makrooh is praised and rewarded, unlike the mubah. The term "karahah" (disliking) is applied to what is forbidden (haram), a prohibition of tanzih (discouraged but not forbidden), leaving what is better (tark al-awla), and what has a doubt concerning its prohibition. The absolute makrooh often refers to makrooh tanzih.
