Is it permissible to divorce a wife who leaves the house without her husband's permission and refuses to live with his relatives?

A wife leaving her husband's home without his permission is not permissible except out of necessity. A wife has the right to refuse to live with her husband's relatives, such as his brother and mother, and the husband must provide a separate dwelling for her, unless the brother's residence is in a separate part of the house with its own facilities. We advise the husband to explain to his wife the obligation of obeying him, and if she refuses, he should resort to legitimate means of reconciliation such as admonition and abstention (from her), and he should not resort to divorce unless all other means have failed.
