That which exits from the urethra or the birth canal — such as pre-seminal fluid (madhy), post-urination fluid (wady), urine, or vaginal discharge — nullifies ablution (wudu) but does not affect the fast. As for the exit of semen, it necessitates ritual bathing (ghusl). It invalidates the fast if it occurs through kissing, direct physical contact, or masturbation. However, it does not invalidate the fast if it occurs through thinking or looking, though it still necessitates ghusl. If semen exits after ghusl without desire, it does not necessitate repeating ghusl.
