What is the authenticity of the hadith: "Four qualities are corrupting... being alone with women, enjoying them, and acting upon their opinions," and does it contradict the Prophet's praise of women, his seeking their opinions, and his recommendation of marriage, or does it refer to non-mahram women?

The aforementioned Hadith is very weak and not authentically established, as it contains two defects: the discrepancy regarding the companionship of Abu al-Mujabbar, and the unknown status of Khalīd al-Farrā’. Furthermore, it was narrated through another chain from Abu Hurairah, but it is fabricated due to the presence of a متروك (abandoned narrator) and a كذاب (liar) in its chain.

The phrase mentioned in the Hadith, "acting upon their (women's) opinions," contradicts the Sharia, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, consulted Umm Salamah, may Allah be pleased with her, during the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, and he accepted her advice.

As for enjoying one's wife, it is permissible. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to sit with his wives, converse with them, and stay up late with them at night. As for non-mahram women, the general principle is not to mix or converse with them except out of necessity.
