The question

Is the Hajj of one who entered from inside the Hijr during Tawaf Al-Ifadah, believing their Tawaf to be valid with three correct circuits, sound, or is a sacrifice (hady) incumbent upon them, knowing that they performed a subsequent circuit with the intention of making up the earlier circuit?

The answer

For the circumambulation (Tawaf) to be valid, it must consist of seven complete circuits around the Kaaba, not inside it. The Hijr (Ismail) is mostly part of the House, so whoever circumambulates inside it, their Tawaf is invalidated. Therefore, whoever does so remains in a state of ihram until they complete their prescribed Tawaf and perform Sa'i if they have not already done so. If they have conjugal relations with their spouse before completing the Tawaf, they must sacrifice a sheep, which is to be slaughtered in the Haram and distributed among its poor. As for performing Umrah before completing Hajj, it is not valid. Asking for religious opinions is only permissible from those qualified to give fatwas, and speaking about Allah without knowledge is one of the gravest sins. The four schools of thought have agreed that three circuits are not sufficient for Tawaf, and the preponderant opinion is that of the majority of jurists, that the seven circuits are a pillar.
