The answer

Firstly: Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah (the People of the Sunnah and the Community) believe in the eternity of disbelievers in Hellfire and that it will not perish, based on Quranic verses and the sayings of the Imams. The eternity of disbelievers in Hellfire is a consensus of the Ummah, with the exception of some misguided sects.

Secondly: Disbelievers will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection on their faces, blind, mute, and deaf. This gathering will be in its true sense.

Thirdly: The gathering in this manner will initially be a rebuke to the disbelievers. Then, Allah will restore their hearing, sight, and speech, so that they may see Hellfire, hear its roaring, and speak.
