The answer

If what a person sees in a dream comes true in waking life, then a believer's vision is one part of forty-six parts of prophecy. The dreams of prophets are true, and the dreams of the righteous are mostly true. As for others, their dreams contain both truth and jumbled thoughts. A truthful, righteous Muslim, as a form of honor, may be given knowledge of the unseen, whereas the disbeliever, the immoral, and the confused rarely have their dreams come true. Therefore, the conformity of a dream vision to reality is a truth, and its occurrence, especially for a committed Muslim, is widespread, because their source is one and the same: Allah.
