Are dreams and visions considered a blessing from God, and should one pay attention to them if they come true in detail and foretell future events, whether good or evil, and what should one do concerning them?

A Muslim's dream can often come true. If a Muslim sees a pleasant dream for himself, it is good tidings for him. If he sees it for someone else, he may tell them about it. However, if he sees something bad, he should conceal it and pray to Allah to avert it from him. It is not possible to be certain about the meaning of a dream, and dreams should not preoccupy the heart of the dreamer or dominate their thoughts. Rather, one should be keen on what benefits them and seek assistance from Allah.
