Is it permissible to sell food products that have pictures or drawings of animate beings on them, such as the picture of a boy or a cow?

There is no objection to selling products that have pictures on them, because what is intended is what is inside the packages, and the buyer discards the packages after emptying them. Also, because these pictures are a widespread affliction, and some scholars permit them because they have no shadow and are demeaned, citing the hadith of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, about the curtain that had a bird statue on it.
