Is it permissible to seek medical treatment using animal venoms (scorpion venom, snake venom)?

Poison is pure (tahir) but forbidden (haram) due to its harm. It is permissible to use it for medicinal purposes if its harm can be averted, and if this is confirmed by trustworthy doctors, along with ensuring safety from its harm or minimizing it. Otherwise, it is forbidden, based on the hadith: "Indeed, Allah did not place the cure for my Ummah in what He has forbidden to them."
