How can one make up missed obligatory prayers for several months? And should one start with the current prayer first, then add the missed ones to it? And must every missed prayer be made up with its counterpart, or can it be made up at any time? And when is it obligatory to make up missed prayers in order, and when is it not? And is it permissible to make up missed prayers consecutively at a time that is not the time for an obligatory prayer?

Missed prayers can be made up at any time, and they must be made up immediately, as long as it does not harm one's body or livelihood; otherwise, the person would be sinful. It is not sufficient to make up one prayer with its equivalent (such as Dhuhr with Dhuhr), but rather one must strive to make up as many as possible. Some scholars have stated that making up two days' worth of prayers in one day is not considered negligence. There is no harm in dedicating a specific time of day to make up whatever missed prayers are easy to perform. As for the order among many missed prayers, it is not obligatory, and the relied-upon opinion is that ordering among missed prayers is not obligatory.
