As for listening to a woman's voice, it is permissible for the purpose of education if temptation is avoided, lust is absent, and it is free from indecency and a submissive tone. However, even with these conditions met, piety and caution in religious matters dictate that a man should not follow lessons given by female teachers, for hearts are weak and the temptation of these times cannot be guaranteed to be safe.
