The answer

If your wife shows remorse and intends to live with you righteously and not fall short in fulfilling your rights, then do not divorce her. Hold onto her, be patient with her, think well of her, and help her to repent. Divorce should not occur except when all means of reconciliation have failed. If her family is corrupting her, prevent her from visiting them to the extent that you avoid their corrupting influence. If she reverts to going to sorcerers, or mistreats you, or withholds your rights, then there is no blame upon you for divorcing her.
