Is it permissible to sell items bought with money earned from work ruled to be unlawful, and to benefit from their price, or is this money unlawful, and is it permissible to use this money to start a new project?

The questioner is permitted to dispose of her purchases made with money earned from her previous work in restaurants that served pork and alcohol, because she was ignorant of the religious ruling, and Allah has accepted her repentance. Some scholars indicate that sincere repentance is sufficient for one who acquired money through earnings that did not involve aggression against a known person, for repentance demolishes what came before it, and Allah transforms the evil deeds of the penitent into good deeds. However, the more scrupulous approach is to dispose of unlawful money by spending it on charitable causes and the interests of Muslims if it is mixed with lawful money.
