Maintaining kinship ties is not limited to visitation; rather, it includes everything that is customarily considered a connection, such as financial assistance, fulfilling needs, visiting, and corresponding. The mother should maintain ties with her siblings in a way that avoids their harm, and rejoice in the blessing and great reward of maintaining kinship ties.
