To embrace Islam, one must pronounce the two testimonies (Shahadatayn). There is no requirement to declare it publicly. If you fear harm, you may conceal your faith and perform religious rites discreetly without abandoning them. Endure patiently and seek reward from Allah if you face harm, for the prophets, messengers, and their companions endured harm. Seek out Muslims in your country and attend seminars and lectures to acquire knowledge and strengthen your faith. If you are unable to perform your religious duties in your country, then migrating to a Muslim country is a religious obligation.
