Does the brother inherit from his brother who has no male children but does have daughters?

If a brother dies and leaves no father or male child, his estate is divided as follows: his daughters receive two-thirds as a prescribed share, and the remainder goes to the brother by virtue of ta'sib (agnatic inheritance) if he is a full brother or a paternal half-brother. There is no difference whether he is older or younger. However, a maternal half-brother does not inherit alongside daughters, based on the hadith: "Give the prescribed shares to those entitled to them, and whatever remains is for the nearest male relative." The brother inherits one-third of the estate by ta'sib if he is a full brother or a paternal half-brother. Inheritance matters must be referred to Sharia courts for investigation, as there might be wills, debts, or other rights that take precedence over the heirs' rights.
