What is the wisdom behind the saying: "And whom He leaves to stray, for him there is no guide," without mentioning the doer, "Allah leaves him to stray," despite the existence of verses that attribute straying to Allah the Almighty?

The belief of the Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah is that Allah guides whom He wills and misguides whom He wills, and He is to be praised in all circumstances. The omission or inclusion of the pronoun in "Whom Allah guides, there is none to mislead him; and whom He misguides, there is none to guide him" is grammatically permissible because it is a superfluous element, and it has been reported in various narrations. The meaning in both cases is clear and consistent with the creed of the Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah that guidance and misguidance are solely in the hand of Allah.
