What is the ruling on intense fear of losing virginity due to masturbation and the anxiety and overthinking that follows, and is it obligatory to inform the suitor or not, and what if he discovers the matter on the wedding night, and is concealing the matter considered a lie?

All praise is due to Allah, who guided the questioner to repent from the bad habit and the forbidden calls. It is not permissible for the questioner to go to a gynecologist to confirm her virginity, because it is not a legitimate necessity that permits revealing one's awrah (intimate parts). The questioner should not tell her mother or anyone else about this, and she should not fear that her husband will disbelieve her if her hymen is ruptured, for a Muslim has a good opinion of Muslims. As long as she has been sincere in her repentance, Allah will conceal her and make her end good. The questioner should put her trust in Allah and strive in righteous deeds. Allah Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out" and "And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him." Informing the husband that the hymen can be ruptured by the forceful flow of menstruation and the like is not a lie; rather, it falls under the category of ma'areed (allusive speech).
