The answer

To identify the deeds most beloved to Allah in Ramadan, reflect on the state of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Righteous Predecessors during this month. The Prophet would increase his charity, benevolence, recitation of the Quran, prayer, remembrance, and i'tikaf. As for the Predecessors, they would strive in righteous deeds such as night prayers, spending [in charity], feeding the poor, and breaking the fast of those who were fasting, and they would frequently recite the Quran, while being keen on concealing their deeds and performing them with sincerity. Therefore, be sure to live Ramadan as the Prophet and the Righteous Predecessors lived it.
