What is the ruling on receiving unearned grades in memorizing the Qur’an, and what should be the intention of one who memorizes the Qur’an and recites it to the teacher in the context of learning?

It is not permissible for a teacher to give a student a grade they do not deserve, as this is an act of forbidden injustice and deception. There is no sin upon the student if they did not request or consent to it. The student's intention in memorizing the Qur’an should be to seek Allah’s pleasure, to desire the reward of the afterlife, and to benefit from the Qur’an's guidance. There is no harm if, alongside this, there is also the purpose of completing the academic curriculum and passing the exam, as these are incidental and secondary benefits.
