What is the ruling on reading the Qur'an and making remembrance of Allah (dhikr) collectively in one loud voice after Asr prayer in Ramadan, and is this in accordance with the Sunnah? And what is the ruling on sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) with the aforementioned formula: "اللهم صل وسلم على عين الرحمة الربانية..." (O Allah, send blessings and peace upon the fount of divine mercy...), and has this been reported in the Sunnah or from the righteous predecessors? And is it permissible to say "Sayyiduna Muhammad" (our master Muhammad) when mentioning the name of the Messenger (peace be upon him)?

Congregating for dhikr (remembrance of Allah) requires clarification. The formula mentioned has no basis and is an innovation of some misguided Sufi groups. This innovation must be abandoned and replaced with reciting the Holy Quran and the remembrance of Allah (tahlil, takbir, tasbih, and tahmid), and sending blessings upon the Messenger, peace be upon him, using the Ibrahimiyah formula. As for adding the word "Sayyidina" (our master) before mentioning the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, it should not be done in the tashahhud (definition), the adhan (definition), and similar instances. However, it is permissible in other contexts, as it adds to the reverence and esteem.
