Is one who shaves his beard cursed for resembling women and altering God's creation? If not, how can one respond to those who say he is cursed?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not explicitly curse the one who shaves his beard. However, it is authentically reported that he cursed men who imitate women. Some scholars have used this hadith as evidence for the prohibition of shaving the beard, considering it an imitation of women. Ibn Baz mentioned that shaving is a greater sin than trimming or shortening the beard. Al-Tuwaijri enumerated several transgressions in shaving the beard, including altering Allah's creation, obeying Satan, imitating women, conforming to polytheists and Zoroastrians, and disobeying Allah and His Messenger. This inference of cursing is to be understood generally, and it is not permissible to curse a specific individual.
