Does donating old clothes fall under the meaning of the noble verse: (And do not aim for what is bad to spend from it, while you would not take it yourselves except with closed eyes)?

Donating old, usual clothes that are not worn out is not considered donating from ill-gotten wealth; rather, it is from average wealth. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, encouraged donating old clothes when acquiring new ones.

Donating old clothes becomes reprehensible if they are worn out and torn to the extent of being unusable, due to the Almighty's saying: "And do not aim for what is bad to spend from it." It is preferable to donate from the best and most beloved of one's wealth to the donor. However, if the donor has nothing but worn-out clothes, there is no reprehensibility in their case.
