The answer

Zakat is obligatory on your savings from your work income and any other monetary earnings that are added to it, if their total reaches the nisab, which is equivalent to the value of 85 grams of pure 24-carat gold, and a full hawl (lunar year) has passed over it without it decreasing below this amount. The obligatory amount to be given is one-quarter of one-tenth (2.5%) of it.

There is no Zakat on workshop tools, devices, and equipment, nor on money spent on rent and similar expenses before the completion of the hawl.

Another person's partnership with you does not affect Zakat; each partner is responsible for their own share.
