Is it permissible to disinherit a daughter if she files a theft lawsuit against her father to please her husband?

It is not permissible to disinherit an heir unless there is an impediment to inheritance, such as murder, difference of religion, or slavery. As the author of al-Rahbiyyah said: "And a person is prevented from inheritance by one of three causes: slavery, murder, and difference of religion so understand, for doubt is not like certainty." As for the heir filing a lawsuit against his father or being disobedient, this is not an impediment to inheritance.
