The expiation for intercourse during Ramadan (definition) daytime is sequential: freeing a slave. If one cannot find a slave, then fasting for two consecutive months. If one is unable to do that, then feeding sixty poor people. Expiation is required for each day on which intercourse occurred. There is no specific age requirement for the poor, so it is permissible to feed an infant or others, and the portion of the minor is given to his guardian. It is obligatory to complete the number of sixty poor people, and feeding the same person more than once from the same expiation is not sufficient. It is permissible for the feeding to be done at separate times.
