Is it permissible to use the noble verse: (And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord but turns away from them and forgets what his hands have put forth? Indeed, We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And if you invite them to guidance, they will never be guided then—ever) with a person who refuses advice and says "Should I fail?", and have I committed a mistake, and how can I repent?

You did well in forbidding evil when you saw it, and mentioning the verse: "The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong" is appropriate for someone who turns away from advice. As for someone who complies, mention to him a verse that indicates the virtue of compliance, such as the Almighty's saying: "The only statement of the [true] believers when they are called to Allah and His Messenger to judge between them is that they say, 'We hear and we obey.' And those are the successful." Thank him and pray for his success and for the betterment of his condition and his ultimate outcome, for the predecessors used to mention verses appropriate for the occasion.
