What are the rulings regarding leaving the prayer and returning to it, whether it is out of necessity such as opening a door, killing a harmful creature, saving a child, or making way for a passerby, and does one resume the prayer from where they left off or restart it?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not exit his prayer when he opened the door for Aisha. Rather, he opened it while he was praying, then returned to his place. This indicates the permissibility of movement during voluntary prayers when there is a need. It is permissible for a worshipper to kill a snake or a scorpion during prayer, and it is even sunnah to do so, even if it requires a lot of movement. However, if a worshipper interrupts their prayer, it is not permissible for them to resume it from where they left off; rather, they must restart it anew. A worshipper praying in the road is not required to exit their prayer to allow others to pass; instead, they should move forward until the person passes behind them, and then return to their original spot.
