I have embroidered the image of an animal on a garment, so is this forbidden or permissible?

"Drawing images of animate beings on clothing or other items is prohibited, based on sound and explicit evidence that forbids the depiction of animate beings. The image should be effaced, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) tore down the curtain that contained images and said to Aisha, "Remove it from me." He also sent Ali and instructed him, "Do not leave any statue but you efface it, nor any raised grave but you level it." And in another narration: "Nor any image but you efface it."
