Is it better to postpone Hajj this year and build the project to secure a decent life for the family, then perform Hajj with the wife next year, or perform Hajj this year and postpone the project?

If the conditions for the obligation of Hajj are met, including financial and physical ability, then it is not permissible to delay it. Financial ability means having enough funds for Hajj after settling debts, legitimate expenses, and essential needs such as housing. Hajj is immediately obligatory according to the majority of scholars, based on the Almighty's saying: "And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Kaaba) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, those who can afford the expenses (for one's conveyance, provision and residence);" and His saying: "And complete the Hajj and 'Umrah (definition) for Allah," and due to the command to hasten Hajj in the Hadith (definition).
