Is al-Aqeedah al-Tahawiyyah sound or not?

Scholars have received Aqidah al-Tahawiyyah with acceptance because it conforms to the truth and contains the fundamentals of belief and its important issues in an easy and concise manner. Many have شرحed it, most of whom are from the Maturidiyyah, who interpreted it according to their madhhab (definition). However, Allah ordained for it Imam Ali ibn Abi al-Izz al-Hanafi to شرح it in accordance with the madhhab of the Salaf. This does not preclude the existence of a few issues within it that require consideration and elaboration, such as the issue of faith.
