What is the ruling on a wife talking online with men whom she knows and who know the husband, but without his knowledge?

Interaction between men and women on the internet often leads to forbidden acts, and a young woman is prohibited from speaking with non-mahram men unless there is a need or necessity and with Islamic strictures. The default is that it is not permissible for a married woman to address non-mahram men on the internet without her husband's knowledge, unless his consent is known; because it is the husband's right that his wife does not permit anyone he dislikes into his home. If his consent is known, then speaking is permissible for a need and with Islamic strictures, such as not softening the speech, not enjoying the sound, and with security from temptation. If the interaction is only in writing, then vulgar words, words of love, or engaging in impermissible matters are forbidden.
