What is the ruling on smashing the head of a slaughtered animal and eating the brain inside it?

Shattering the head of an animal ritually slaughtered (dhabihah) is a valid slaughter according to Islamic law, and eating what is inside it is permissible due to the absence of any proof against its permissibility. What is permissible is pure food, and all parts of a permissible slaughtered animal are pure, except for what is forbidden to eat. Thus, the slaughtered animal that is permissible to eat is pure.
