Is giving charity to relatives and saving money for Hajj counted the same as giving charity to others?

Charity given to relatives is superior and carries a greater reward than charity given to others, because it combines charity with maintaining kinship ties. The virtue increases if the relative is one of the parents, due to the added elements of piety and benevolence. Furthermore, helping parents perform Hajj is better than giving them general charity, because whoever assists someone in an act of obedience to Allah receives a reward similar to that of the doer.
